Mr. Bobowski and his 3rd hour kids have done it again!!!!!!  Each student in his class averaged over 70 dollars of materials and money for the humane society for an amazing total of $1898.00.  The National Honor Society would like to recognize their amazing work and thank them for all that they have done throughout the year!!  Mr. Bobowski is an amazing motivator for his kids!!!!  We are not sure of your secret powers but keep up the good work!!  Final school count will be released this week.  Thanks to everyone that donated, especially Mrs. Biebuyck that donated over $500 of personal money and materials.  Every penny counts when you are helping animals waiting for homes!!

JUNIORS who took the CCR class and improved your composite score by 2 points from your last practice test to the March state test--it's bagel day.  Come to Mrs. Shonk's room at lunch and build your bagel!  Congratulations!

NHS SENIOR STUDENTS:  You need to pick up your graduation stolls in Mrs. Lindstrom’s room at lunch TODAY.

SENIORS:  You need to turn your library materials in to the Media Center ASAP.  You will be put on the fines list and won’t receive your cap and gown until these items are turned in. 

DUAL ENROLLMENT:  The last day for enrolling in dual enrollment classes for SC4 will be Wednesday, May 30th.  Please see your counselor, if you are interested in dual enrollment classes for next year.

STUDENTS:    If you would like to be a member of Student Government for the 2012-13 school year, sign-up sheets are in the Media Center. Please turn these into Miss Galvin or Ms. VanDeSteene by this Friday.

YEARBOOKS:   If you purchased a yearbook and have not picked it up yet, you can stop by Mrs. Reichle’s room and get it.   There are a couple extras if you would still like to purchase one.  The cost is $75.00.

HOOP GIRLS:   11th grade girls who are interested in being a hoop girl at graduation see Mrs. Reichle to sign up.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT: If you ran for office for the 2012-2013 school year there will be a mandatory meeting in Miss Galvins room TOMORROW at lunch. Also, any student government member in need of community service hours and would like to be an usher at Honors or Graduation, see Miss Galvin or Ms. VanDeSteene ASAP.

SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS:  Applications for Junior and Senior class officers for the 2012-13 school year are now available in the Media Center .  In order to be a class officer you must be a current member of student government or fulfill the requirements as according to the MCHS Student Government Constitution.  See Mrs. Reichle for more information.

SENIORS:   All permission slips and money for the Senior All Night Party are due by this Friday. The cost is $35. If you have already paid and sent in your permission slip, you do not need to send in another one.
 

SPORTS

FOOTBALL PLAYERS:  There is a mandatory meeting for all football players TOMORROW at 10:55am in Mr. Glodich's room.  If you cannot attend, see Mr. Glodich before the meeting.     

VOLLEYBALL:  Any girls interested in volleyball...there are volleyball camp forms in the office.  See Ms. Thomas if you have any questions.

 PARENTS

SENIOR PARENTS:  Pictures from the yearbook senior parent ads are now available in the main office.

SANP:  The committee needs workers for the party, June 3rd.  Please call Julie Haehnle at (810) 765-9657. 

We also need a baby picture of your senior for the Baby Picture Contest.  You can email your picture to mchsbabypics@gmail.com or drop it off in the office, please include the name of your senior.  No newborn pictures please.  DEADLINE FOR SENIOR BABY PICTURES IS FRIDAY, MAY 25TH.

VG’s receipts are still being accepted for the Senior All Night Party and can be dropped off in the main office.

JUNIOR PARENTS:  All current Junior parents, there will be a meeting this Thursday, May 24th, at 6:30p.m. in Room 415 at the high school for planning the Class of 2013 Senior All Night Party.

SPORTS PHYSICALS

Physicals for the 2012-2013 school year will be available at the Algonac Medical Center on

 Thursday, July 26th from 1:15pm - 4:15pm 

The cost for the physical is $20.00.  Checks can be made payable to Algonac Medical Center.
