St. Clair Middle School Announcements

The 8th grade girls' basketball team won an exciting game last night against Fort Gratiot Lumberjacks to improve their record to 5-1!  Although the Saints dominated most of the game, the Lumberjacks kept it interesting by shaving the Saints' lead to 2 but with only seconds left the Saints persevered and won.  The girls played with everything they had to ensure a victory.  The Saints visit Holland Woods on Thursday.  Courtney Ingles ~ 16pts, Allie Miller ~ 8pts, Goldie Breuhan ~ 6pts, Desiree Liniarski ~ 2pts and Grace Smith ~  2pts.  

It's Activity Night at the Port Huron YMCA!  Saturday March 13th from 6-9pm for SCMS students only.  The pre-sale tickets will be sold during lunch on Thursday, March 4th ~ Thursday, March 11th for a cost of $10.00.  Price includes all of the activities plus 2 pieces of Pompeii's Pizza and pop.  There will be a duck race where the students may purchase a duck for $1 and watch it race down the lazy river.  The grand prize is $50 with a second prize of a YMCA family day pass.  Students must have their student id to purchase a ticket, and return a parent signed waiver in order to participate.

St. Clair Little League will be having softball try-outs in the junior and senior girls divisions, ages 13-16 yrs old at Riverview East High School gym on Monday, March 15th @ 7pm.  On line registration and forms are available at SCHS, SCMS, or visit www.stclairlittleleague.org
