Grades are posted in the classroom on Monday or Tuesday. Your child needs to copy it in his/her planner. Please check the planner for the grade and sign weekly, once you have seen your child's updated grade. If you do not see a grade please remind your child to copy it. Once a week, I will be looking for your signature next to your child's science grade.
We are finishing our last unit, Populations and Ecosystems, with a research project. Students have been divided into groups and assigned an ecosystem to research. Each group will be creating a Protopage (like a webpage) to display and present their project. We will be working on this project for the next 3 weeks.
If you have a Parent Connect account, please take the time to check it out. You will be able to see what grade your child received on each assignment, what his/her average is and if there are any missing assignments. I will post updated grades (using student ID numbers) in the classroom by Tuesday, so your child will also know his/her grade. Students have been given their Student Connect user names and passwords. Please have your child show you how he/she can check their grades on the computer.
