Education is definitely a Team Sport. Communication is the key. Please don't hesitate to contact any of your child's teachers, counselors or administrators with any questions of concerns.
The units covered at the 7th grade level in science are:
1. Physical Properties and Chemical Properties of Matter (matter/introduction to chemistry)
2. Structures and Processes of Living Things (Cells and genetics)
3. Fluid Earth Systems and Human Activities (Water Cycle, the use of our water systems, abuse of water, and environmentally friendly approaches
to water usage)
4. Waves and Energy

Test/quizzes and major projects will be posted on Parent Connect under "Class News". Students are almost always given a full week's notice of test/quiz dates.
