Welcome! If you
are visiting this sight your child probably is in my class. I not only teach
7th grade science, but also 8th grade science.
If you need to contact me I am usually at school by 7:30 a.m. I can also
be reached during my prep period, which is third hour (10:34-11:33), you can
also e-mail me at kburkart@ecsd.us. If

outstanding communication tool to stay
on top of how your child is doing in each of his/her classes. Go to
the East China School District main page (http://www.ecsd.us/) and click
on "Parent Connect". It will explain the hoops you need to
jump through.

7th
grade science will center around chemistry, ,cell structure and function,
the atmosphere and weather, water cycle, and waves.

8th
grade science will center around the earth and its systems, oceans and
climate, and astronomy.
